Technology Upgrades at ASTDNY

“The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.” - George Bernard Shaw

ASTDNY is a city within a city. In any given month we often have six special interest groups on our calendar, along with our monthly program featuring L&D thought leaders and expert panelists. Our collaborative membership represents the top talent in Fortune 500 firms, as well as non-profit, government and superior independent contractors. How then, can you possibly keep up with it all? You can, by using our new social networking tools and our soon-to-be released website.

ASTDNY Blog: Check the blog often, as we regularly post SIG meeting minutes, event speaker notes, and L&D articles of interest.

Facebook: Connect to the ASTDNY Facebook page (click the Like button) for a listing of SIG and chapter events, photos, and threaded discussions.

Twitter: Follow us on Twitter (click the Follow button) to receive instant and timely notifications of changes to the blog and Facebook, and other developments in the NY Metro L&D environment.

Website 2.0: Stay tuned for an improved ASTDNY website that is currently in development. The new site boasts dynamic forums, improved events calendaring, a powerful members database, and online payment functionality. The new ASTDNY website will set the standard for all ASTD chapters.
